The Meadowood Singers are Back!

From 2001 to 2010 I was either the accompanist and/or director of the Meadowood Singers. The Meadowood Singers unfortunately disbanded in 2010 because of the loss of several key members, but with the leadership of Dick Schutte (one of the members of the Choir) the group is back and rehearsing for an upcoming holiday concert.

The new Meadowood Singers are 13 members strong and feature singers both from Meadowood Retirement Community and the surrounding area. Yesterday was the first rehearsal since the reforming of the group. We sang through nice arrangements of Danny Boy, God Bless America, and Amazing Grace. The upcoming holiday concert will take place at the Terrace Room at Meadowood Retirement Community. Stay tuned for dates and times.

The Meadowood Singers are currently in need of Tenors, so if you know anyone who might be interested, please contact me.
