Dave Cox (American Piano Factory) – Amazon Review (Nov 11, 2010)

A Marvelous Collection, November 11, 2010 This review is from: Euphoric Owls (MP3 Download) I found the compositions and the performances of each piece make for a very enjoyable listening experience. Timothy Reed has an ability to make piano music not only beautiful, but fun as well. Any piano lover couldn’t help but to appreciate Timothy’s technique and flow to the album, with all of it’s complexities of vocal harmony (sung by the highly talented Brown Sisters) and piano. Several masterpieces, in my humble opinion, include Cameraderie/The Arrival, Azure Skies, Flying, and the title track Euphoric Owls. The album production from Dave Weber’s Airtime Studios is top notch, and I also found the songs are structured in such a way that seems very pleasing to listen through and through, again and again. Give a listen and see for yourself.

Hi Tim, That was AWESOME!!! I laughed, I cried, and everything in between. Really amazing, beautiful … words fail me. but… I’ve recovered enough to share a few. We all LOVED it. You reached across generations and made everyone feel. Quiet and awed. Smiling tender and smiling warm. Touched and blessed. What talent you’ve collected around you; they complement you well. Ariel was breathtaking! On the way home, we were talking about all the things we liked and Ryan said he’s going to write songs for his next album and as soon as we got home he sat at the piano and now he just asked for blank sheet music so he can write down the piece he composed. 🙂 So, your evening just keeps on giving. 🙂 thank you, sincerely, ruth and Dana and Ryan and Sara.

“Really loved your show at the B-C. I think Twilight is probably the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard.”

One of my Bloomington (Indiana) Adventures: Timothy Reed’s Euphoric Owls Concert. Love it! Of course, one of the most refreshing music shows I had been to! :)… I’ve downloaded your album from CDBaby, love all the songs! They’ve been on repeat on my iTunes since last week. You gotta do a show here (in Amherst, Massachusetts), too 🙂

Hi Tim, I regret I missed your CD release concert. Dave gave it 5 stars. I hope you’ll have another live performance some time in the future. I love your CD! I listened to it again this morning and was blown away by you & the Brown sisters. The vocals are flawless & your piano playing is inspirational. I think my favorite song is Azure Skies. It’s beautiful. Your vocal reminds me a little of Kenny Rankin who died a few years back. Dave is a great friend and always speaks highly of you & your musical talent. I’m a fan now too. Please keep Dave & I posted when you’ll be performing live again. Hope to see you soon.

John Wanchic, about the Euphoric Owls CD Release Show (Feb 23, 2011)

Timothy Reed’s show at the Buskirk Chumley on Jan. 15th, 2011, had something for everyone. It reminded me of the good old days of variety shows like Red Skelton, Carol Burnett, Hee Haw, and Laugh In, where you could sit and be entertained with your family and not be embarrassed by what they would see. It was last month and I am still telling people about it! After the show you could just see the excitement in everybody’s eyes. His piano playing, singing, all the guest artists, his programming of serious music to comedic songs and skits, and how they flowed from one the next, were all fabulous. There was something for everyone, and I can’t wait til the next one!

You put your heart and soul into it, coz I feel it when I hear it. Great music! See you at the CD release show! John Wanchic
