The Brown Sisters

The Brown Sisters had their debut 10 years ago at the Buskirk-Chumley theater when they opened for the IU acapella group Ladies First. Since then they have sung with the Bloomington Symphony Orchestra, the Bloomington Pops, the IU Children’s Choir, Sounds of South, and performed four of their own concerts.

Lauren Brown continued singing in college with a premiere a cappella group. She graduated from Lewis & Clark College in May 2010 with a degree in math and is currently working as an admissions counselor at her Alma Mater in Portland, Oregon.

Lilly Brown is a sophomore at Syracuse University majoring in mechanical engineering with a minor in film. She sings in a gospel acapella group called Redemption. Both Lauren and Lilly worked for the TV show Survivor for two summers in Samoa and Nicaragua.

Jenna attends Bloomington South High School. She has held lead roles in Brigadoon, Babes in Arms, and Fiddler on the Roof. She is also on the dance team. She hopes to go to college someplace warm.

All the girls have been piano students of Tim’s.
